This one is special to us. While this project was not a ZADDY project, our founder did work to help bring Glassjaw’s vision for GOLD to life 10 years ago.
As always, Beck from Glassjaw started with an idea for an integrated product marketing campaign. In this case, the Coloring Book EP would be sold as interchangeable vinyl rings that would create 93 different EP’s. An actual DIY art project that you could listen to.
While the tour was it’s own masterpiece, using a collectible screen printed poster as the ticket and giving the limited CD release to anyone who came to the show, the video was another cog in the wheel of an incredible project. Shot in Brooklyn 10 years ago, this video features the national champions of step, and a live performance of Glassjaw from the respective Coloring Book tour.
We’re proud to have ever worked with this Beck, and we hope to continue to support Glassjaw in any way possible.
