RED BULL

Red Bull North America discontinued production of its Red Bull Energy Shot, as of July 2011, according to a Bevnet.com report. The company sold through its then current inventories of the beverage and ceased further production.

Red Bull Energy Shot debuted in 2009, but was unable to successfully topple energy shot category leader, 5-Hour Energy, the report stated.

MONSTER ENERGY

Monster Energy release HITMAN in the mid 2000’s, and it was discontinued, and replaced by a brand called WORX by 2011.

All traces of WORX on the internet cease as of late 2013.

Monster currently focuses on large format, carbonated energy drinks.

NOS ENERGY

In 2008, following projections of a “$125MM” market surge in the Energy Shot category, NOS released a 2oz Energy Shot.

There is little to no information available about this product on the internet, as it appears to have disappeared immediately from the shelves.
